TLDRA federal judge has blocked the Trump administration from stripping temporary protected status from up to 350,000 Haitians, allowing them to legally live and work in the US. Judge Ana Reyes issued a temporary stay preventing the US homeland security secretary from implementing the decision to remove TPS, which was scheduled to expire. Reyes found it likely that the decision was based on hostility to nonwhite immigrants.
